At least 13 Palestinians, including women and children, were killed early Tuesday and 20 others  injured in a series of Israeli airstrikes ushering in a new aggression on the besieged Gaza Strip.

The strikes according to Palestinian Health Ministry took place at  around 2:am.

According to a statement by Palestine Embassy in Harare, a series of Israeli airstrikes targeted several homes and residential buildings across the besieged Gaza Strip, resulting in the murder of Jihad Ghannam, 62, Khaled Al-Buheiti, 44, and Tareq Izz al-Din, in addition to members of their households, including children and women.

Meanwhile, the Embassy of the state of Palestine in Harare has condemned in the strongest terms these heinous  crimes committed by the Israeli apartheid occupation army against the people of the  Gaza Strip.

In a statement, Ambassador Tamar Al Masri said, “the Israeli apartheid government is exporting its domestic crises to the Palestinian arena at the expense of the rights of our people.” Almassri added that whenever the Israel government faces domestic difficulties, it resorts to  escalation of its crimes to the Palestinian people.

“We hold the Israeli government fully and directly responsible for this aggression and its consequences as this is a dangerous escalation that threatens peace in the middle East. The Palestinian people will defend themselves by all means necessary that are permitted by the international law in fighting this brutal apartheid government.”

The embassy said the latest crime is a continuity of lsrael’s series of ongoing  aggression on the Palestinian people, as well as an act of war.

Ambassador Almasri said this should not be tolerated by any progressive state adding that the killings are the consequence of the regular resort to lethal force by Israeli apartheid security forces against Palestinians and total lack of accountability for killings of Palestinians.

He called  on the international community to intervene urgently to stop the aggression against Palestinians, and to hold Israel accountable for the violations and crimes.
