President of the Senate in the 9th Parliament, Senator Mabel Chinomona

The swearing in of recently elected Members of Parliament and Senators has been set for the 7th of September, at Parliament House in Harare.
First to be sworn in will be Members of the National Assembly at 10am followed by Senators at 14:30.
The announcement was made in a notice published in the Government Gazette.
In a notice published in the Government Gazette, Clerk of Parliament Kennedy Chokuda said the notice of the swearing-in ceremony was in terms of Section 128(1) of the Zimbabwe Constitution.
