Wilfred Mashaya (wrapped in Zimbabwean Flag) is set to conquer Bangladesh

Wilfred Mashaya is set to take part in the International BG Championship 2023 set for BKSP Sports Village, Saver, Dhaka in Bangladesh from the 28th to 29 of December 2023.
Mashaya will represent Zimbabwe in Kobudo (Weapon Categories) under the banner of Zimbabwe Karate Union (ZKU) in the Tournament organised by Shihan Khaled Monsur Chowdhury Bangladesh Goju Ryu karate Federation supported by Bangladesh Bashap Association.
Other karate categories Apart from Kobudo, at the Tournament will include Senior, Junior & Cadet categories in both Kumite and Kata.
Mashaya specialises in the Tonfa, Nunchaku, Katana Swords, Sai , Bo and Kama among other weapons.
Mashaya Introduced the Kobudo discipline in Zimbabwe in 2016 after conquering Russia in an International Kobudo Tournament held in Moscow.
In 2018 Mashaya formed the Zim Ninja Academy which focuses on the development of Martial Arts in the country. In October 2023 Mashaya and his student Vincent Fambira won 11 Medals in the ICO Martial Arts World Championships held in Hull, England.
