In a chilling statement issued by the State of Palestine’s Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Dr. Tamer Almassri, Israel is accused of perpetrating what is described as the “mother of all crimes in the history of mankind.” The Ambassador alleges that the Israeli occupation forces buried hundreds of Palestinians in a mass grave inside the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, located in the southern Gaza Strip, during a recent invasion.

According to Ambassador Almassri, more than 210 martyrs have been retrieved from the mass grave following the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the area. Shockingly, reports suggest that many of the victims were stripped naked before being executed, with some bodies found mutilated and missing body parts, indicating potential violations of international law.

The Ambassador has called for international institutions to investigate the weapons allegedly used by Israeli forces in Gaza, suggesting that prohibited weapons may have been employed in the commission of these crimes. He reiterated that the majority of the victims are women and children deliberately targeted by Israeli occupation forces.

Furthermore, the Ambassador condemned the complicity of the United States and its allies, accusing them of fueling the genocidal Israeli military with billions of dollars in weapons sales. The statement comes amidst ongoing Israeli airstrikes in Gaza, including in the city of Rafah, where recent raids claimed the lives of 22 people, including 18 children.

In addition to the atrocities in Gaza, Ambassador Almassri highlighted Israeli aggression in the occupied West Bank, where armed settlers and Israeli forces have killed hundreds of Palestinians and displaced many more from their lands. The Palestinian death toll from the ongoing conflict has reached staggering numbers, with over 34,000 reported fatalities and nearly 77,000 injuries since the beginning of the genocide war.

As the international community grapples with the gravity of these accusations, Ambassador Almassri’s statement serves as a stark reminder of the human cost of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the urgent need for accountability and justice for the victims.
