The inaugural Africa Canine Professionals Conference 2024 will take place on July 25-26 at a local hotel in Harare, Zimbabwe. The conference aims to improve canine care and training across the continent.
Munashe Valentine Nzembe, CEO and Founder of Maligators Dog Training Zimbabwe, confirmed the dates and emphasized the conference’s significance as the largest of its kind in Africa. The event will equip dog enthusiasts and professionals with the latest knowledge and techniques in the field.
“The comprehensive program includes sessions on animal behavior, dogs and the law, veterinary roles, animal welfare, pandemic impact, emotional safety in dog training, coping methods for overwhelmed dogs, rethinking dog patterns, managing hyperactivity and aggression, dog training concepts for families, and the importance of dog grooming,” said Nzembe.
The conference expects 50 attendees, including 10 international participants. Facilitators include Advocate Ever Vimbai Chinoda, Peter Maguwu, Dr. MacLennin Shava, and Denise Murton, experts in animal law, welfare, and training.
This event aims to make a positive impact on dog care and training in Africa, providing a valuable learning experience for all involved.
