The National Democratic Working Group (NDWG) and Transform Zimbabwe (TZ) has signed a memorandum of cooperation strengthening their collective voice against the ruling ZANU PF party.
NDWG leader Job Sikhala addressed the event virtually, citing ongoing medical treatment abroad, while TZ leader Jacob Ngarivhune spoke in person.
The memorandum outlines the two organizations’ commitment to providing effective political leadership and confronting ZANU PF in a united manner. This cooperation signals a potential shift in the country’s opposition politics.
Sikhala and Ngarivhume emphasized their shared leadership style, which prioritizes accountability to the people and leading by example. They encouraged like-minded organizations to join forces, emphasizing their commitment to democratic principles and the Zimbabwean people.
The signing of the memorandum marks a significant step in the country’s political landscape, as the two organizations vow to work together to address Zimbabwe’s economic and political crises.
“The nation is sick and tired of what is happening in the country under the leadership of ZANU PF. No-one from Pluto will rescue the nation but the masses of Zimbabwe,” said Ngarivhume.
Added that all like minded forces should come on board to form a formidable force against ZANU PF.
Sikhala said that, “ZANU PF is a deceitful and treacherous political party which has a history of destroying opposition political parties.”
He chanted that ZANUPF is an evil party which has impoverished the nation.
