Dr Tamer Almassri

The Ambassador of the State of Palestine in Zimbabwe, Dr. Tamer Almassri, has strongly condemned the recent bombardment by Israeli occupation forces on displaced people in the Al Mawasi area of Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip. The attack, which has been described as an “explicit act of terrorism,” has resulted in the deaths of at least 90 Palestinians and injured over 400 others, including children, women, and rescue crews.
Dr. Almassri stressed that this shelling is a new evidence of the systematic policy of deliberate extermination towards the Palestinian people. The Israeli occupation forces have committed four massacres against families in the Gaza Strip over the last 24 hours, forcing the closure of medical facilities and restricting the entry of medical equipment.
The State of Palestine considers these crimes as an extension of the crime of genocide that the Israeli occupation continues to commit against Palestinian civilians, in blatant defiance of UN resolutions and the orders of the International Court of Justice.
Dr. Almassri called on the international community and major powers to assume their responsibility regarding the continued blatant aggression of Israel, which considers itself above international law, and take decisive action to completely stop Israel’s criminal acts against the defenseless Palestinians.
The Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught has risen to 38, with 88,881 individuals sustaining injuries.
