Ready to Conquer-Shihan Wilfred Mashaya arrives in England

The reigning Kobudo (Weapons) World Champion, Shihan Wilfred Mashaya, a Zimbabwean national, has arrived in England to compete in the International Martial Arts Corporation (IMAC) English Open Tournament.
Scheduled for August 4th at the York Leisure Centre, the tournament is set to draw 240 competitors from around the globe.
The IMAC English Open will feature participants from various countries, including England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Zimbabwe, India, Nepal, Morocco, and the United States.
Shihan Mashaya, an accomplished and decorated martial artist, has been inducted into the Hall of Fame and holds a 5th Dan black belt in Okinawan Kobudo
He is preparing for the prestigious Martial Arts World Championship slated for October in Germany, using the iMac English Open as a key step.
Before the main competition, Shihan Mashaya will serve as a guest instructor for a weapons seminar on August 3rd. He will teach the art of nunchaku.
Speaking upon arrival in England, Shihan Mashaya expressed his excitement, stating,
“I am honoured to be competing in the IMAC English Open and to have the opportunity to share my skills in the nunchaku seminar. This event will serve as an excellent preparation for the ICO Martial Arts World Championship, and I look forward to testing my abilities against some of the best martial artists in the world.”
Like always, he hopes to represent Zimbabwe with flying colours as he has been trained and working hard for it.
