Freedom Manatsa

Renowned musician Freedom Manatsa, son of the late legendary musician Zex Manatsa, is gearing up to release his third studio album this December. With 22 years of experience in the music industry, Manatsa has established himself as a talented artist in his own right.
Manatsa’s musical journey began as a drummer for various afro-jazz groups. He released his debut album, “KaJuice,” seven years ago, followed by “Ndaida Iwewe” three years ago.
Confident about his latest project, Manatsa described it as a “masterpiece.”
“Music runs in the family, as you know that my father and brothers are all involved in the music industry,” he said.
The upcoming album holds special significance, as Manatsa dedicates it to his parents, whom he lost within a short period.
“This third offering that I have put together is a special tribute to both my parents,” he revealed.
The eight-track album will feature collaborations with his brothers, including legendary guitarist Tendai Manatsa. Additionally, it includes a bonus single, “Wave Kudei,” which Manatsa co-wrote and recorded with his sister-in-law, Selmor Mtukudzi.
