Outspoken opposition politician Linda Masarira is venturing into the agri-business space with the launch of Zhizha Natural Dried Foods, a range of organic dried agricultural products she says are poised to transform the food industry.

In a social media announcement, Masarira revealed plans to launch the products formally soon amd hit the ground locally and abroad.

“Get ready to experience the rich, authentic taste of nature. Zhizha Natural Dried Foods will soon be on your shelves after our official launch,” she wrote.

The brand, specialising in dried products such as mushroom, vegetables, kapenta, among others promises premium-quality, locally sourced organic food. She said the products are “100% Organic, sun-kissed & naturally preserved and packed with wholesome goodness & flavor.”

“From our land and dried specifically for your plate, enjoy the natural way to nourish your body. Taste nature, Choose Zhizha,” she added.

She indicated that she is working on her export verification and will be attending AfCFTA exhibition in Algeria in September.

“I’m working on getting my export certification and will be attending the AfCFTA exhibition in Algiers, Algeria, in September 2025 to market Zhizha Natural Dried Foods,” she said.

Masarira, who has long championed self-reliance and indigenous solutions, said her motivation is rooted in promoting healthy lifestyles and reclaiming traditional food systems. Her foray into agribusiness marks a bold diversification move, one she believes will reconnect Zimbabweans with their nutritional heritage.

“An empire in the making. I am an avid advocate of healthy eating. We abandoned our own healthy natural foods for processed imports that have caused so many health ailments that our people are struggling with,” she said.
