The countdown has begun for Zimbabwe’s 115th Agricultural Show, with organisers confirming that preparations are now at an advanced stage for the landmark event set to run from Monday, 25 August to Saturday, 30 August 2025.

Running under the theme “Building Bridges: Connecting Agriculture, Industry and Community,” the show marks a significant milestone on the country’s agricultural calendar.

Speaking during a post-Cabinet press briefing on Thursday, the Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Hon Dr Jenfan Muswere, said space uptake has already increased by 60.1% compared to the same period in 2024, while the number of exhibitors has risen by 76.8% over last year’s figures.

This year’s show will feature five key sections: agri-produce, tobacco, cotton, livestock, and commercial exhibitions.

A packed schedule of business and educational events is also lined up, including the Green Indaba, the annual ZAS School Quiz, the National Agribusiness Conference, the Exhibitors’ Cocktail, the Zimbabwe Agricultural Media Awards, and the Environmental, Social and Technology Indaba.

Organisers expect to draw exhibitors and visitors from across Zimbabwe and beyond, offering farmers and agribusinesses a valuable platform to network, share ideas, and showcase innovations.
