Award-winning singer and R&B artist Shashl has promised an unforgettable, high-energy performance at the upcoming Nubian Notes Concert, scheduled for 8 November 2025 at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC).
The concert, organised by Gateway Stream Media in partnership with ZAR Events, is a celebration of female excellence in Zimbabwe’s music industry, bringing together top female artists including Feli Nandi, Gemma Griffiths, Tamy Moyo, and Nisha Ts.
Shashl, renowned for her smooth vocals and dynamic stage presence, told fans to expect a night of powerful music, fashion, and empowerment.
The Nubian Notes Concert aims not only to showcase talent but also to amplify the voices of female musicians in an industry often dominated by men. Organisers say it will be a game-changer for local music and a bold statement of women’s rising influence in the arts.
Tickets have reportedly been selling rapidly at Rainbow Towers Hotel & Conference Centre, New Ambassador Hotel, and all MedOrange Pharmacies in Harare, with standard tickets priced at US$15 and VIP tickets at US$20. Fans can also purchase tickets online through https://events.gatewaystream.com.
For Shashl, participating in the event carries deeper meaning beyond performance.
“This is bigger than a performance; it’s a powerful statement of strength, resilience, and sisterhood,” she said. She further stressed the message of unity and empowerment represented by the concert.
“Being part of an all-female show is more than just a performance; it’s a statement of unity and strength,” she said. “It’s about women standing together, celebrating each other’s voices, and breaking the narrative that we must compete to shine.”
Shashl said her upcoming performance will be a journey of emotion and truth, reflecting growth, love, pain, and healing.
“My performance is inspired by real emotion. Vulnerability is not weakness; it is art in its purest form. Every woman carries a story, and through my music, I want people to feel seen, understood, and uplifted.”
She added that women are not only participating in creative spaces but actively reshaping them.
“Women are redefining creativity across every space. We are innovators, leaders, and visionaries shaping culture in real time. We are showing the world that femininity and power can coexist,” she said.
Shashl emphasised that her artistry is rooted in authenticity and connection with audiences.
“It’s going to be soulful and heartfelt, with a signature Shashl touch, real stories, beautiful melodies, and a connection that goes beyond the stage,” she said.
“Let’s just say it’s a celebration of womanhood, music, and unity. You will have to be there to feel it.”
