The Embassy of Italy in Zimbabwe wishes to advise all visa applicants and stakeholders that the VIS IT operating system will be temporarily unavailable from 12 February to 18 February 2026.
This interruption is due to a planned and urgent technical intervention. During this period, the reception, processing, and issuance of entry visas will be temporarily suspended.
To minimise inconvenience, the Embassy will reschedule all appointments that fall within the affected period. New dates will be arranged for the days immediately before or after the suspension, with due consideration given to urgent and priority cases.
Applicants are kindly requested to take note of this development and plan accordingly. Further guidance will be communicated to affected applicants directly.
