Warriors Leave For Rwanda

The Warriors technical team and locally-based players left Harare this afternoon heading to Rwanda where they are scheduled to play Rwanda and Nigeria in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The local players are Tanaka Shandirwa, Frank Makarati, Donovan Bernard, Walter Musona, Obriel Chirinda, Peter Muduhwa, Andrew Mbeba, and Brian Banda, together with Saudi Arabia -based Gerald Takwara.

Other foreign-based players including a couple of new faces such as Isaac Mabaya, Tawanda Maswanhise, Marley Tavaziva and Leon Chiwome, will join camp from the 13th onwards.

Zimbabwe will play Rwanda on 15 November hoping to beat the East African country, who has beaten the Warriors 2 times and drawn once in the last four matches.

Six days later, on November 19, Zimbabwe will play Nigeria at the same venue.
