CBZ Holdings has partnered with Highlanders Football Club to launch the Highlanders Supporters Bank Card, a new product aimed at combining everyday banking with fan engagement and club support.
The launch event was held on Thursday evening at Holiday Inn Bulawayo and was attended by Highlanders F.C. officials, dedicated fans, and CBZ executives.
The card allows users to perform standard banking transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, savings, and money transfers. Each transaction made using the card will contribute financially to the Highlanders Football Club, providing the team with a new, sustainable revenue stream.
Highlanders F.C., established in 1926, is the oldest football club in Zimbabwe and is set to commemorate its 100th anniversary in 2026. The club has a storied history marked by remarkable performances and remains one of the best-supported teams in the country, with a strong following across Zimbabwe and in the diaspora.
The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships between financial institutions and local sports organisations. CBZ Holdings thanked all stakeholders who participated in the successful launch.
