78th UN General Assembly: Schedule for Heads of States Addresses

Member States of the United Nations will take turns to address the international community from the 19th to the 26th of September 2023 at the 78th Ordinary Session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

Each member state will be allocated 15 to 20 minutes for the address.

Brazil’s leader will be the first to address on Tuesday followed by US President Joe Biden. Afghanistan will speak last on 26 September.

Below is the complete schedule of countries due to be speaking at the conference:

Tuesday, 19 September

Morning: Brazil, United States, Colombia, Jordan, Poland, Cuba, Turkey, Portugal, Qatar, South Africa, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Guatemala, Hungary, Switzerland, Slovenia, Uzbekistan.

Afternoon: Bolivia, Kazakhstan, Iran, Algeria, Argentina, El Salvador, Kyrgyzstan, Paraguay, Peru, Mozambique, Panama, Nigeria, Uruguay, Czech Republic, Costa Rica, Palau, Senegal, Germany, Japan.

Wednesday, 20 September
