His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Cde Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa, has officially removed Sithembiso Gile Gladys Nyoni from her position as Minister of Environment, Climate, and Wildlife with immediate effect.
The decision, made in accordance with Section 340(1)(f) and Section 108(1)(a) of the Constitution of Zimbabwe, was announced on April 3, 2025, by Dr. M. Rushwaya, Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet. The reasons behind her removal have not been disclosed.
