Mambo Dhuterere and Wife Receive Car and Cash Gifts Amid Separation

The much publicized separation of gospel musician Mambo Dhuterere and his wife Dorcas Vambe has drawn sympathy from businessman and philanthropist Sir Wicknell Chivhayo, who has gifted the couple a car each, along with US$50,000 for Mambo Dhuterere and US$100,000 for his wife.

Since breaking into the music industry dome few years ago, Mambo Dhuterere has consistently appeared alongside his wife, who was not only a member of his band but also had her own songs composed and recorded.

However, news of their recent separation shocked many and went viral, leaving many fans saddened and disappointed.

But this marital crisis has unexpectedly turned into a life-changing moment for the couple as Sir Wicknell move is mist likely going to reunite the two.

On Friday afternoon, the u predictable Chivhayo reached out with a heartfelt message shared on social media, expressing deep appreciation for the couple’s impact on gospel music and his hope for their reconciliation.

Chivhayo commended the significant influence the two have had through their music, both in Zimbabwe and beyond.

“Today I want to celebrate two incredible individuals who have revolutionised gospel music in Zimbabwe and beyond… You have both united our country through your music and given hope to those in distress.”

Known for their powerful apostolic hymns and inspiring lyrics, the couple has openly acknowledged challenges in their marriage. While speculation about their separation continues to dominate social and traditional media, Chivhayo chose to extend support and encouragement.

As a gesture of gratitude, he gifted each of them a brand-new white Toyota Fortuner 2.8 GD6. Additionally, he pledged US$50,000 to Mambo Dhuterere and US$100,000 to Mai Dhuterere, recognising her as “amai vemusha” and the one “who almost always has the burden yekuchengeta vana.”

Chivhayo also responded to claims that Mambo Dhuterere had previously declined a vehicle from him: “I wish to set the record straight. I only held back from giving you a car because you had publicly stated that you were not eager to get a car from me as you had many other cars. I simply respected your position then.”

He went on to acknowledge Mai Dhuterere’s vital role in her husband’s career: “She has stood by you from day one, contributed to your music and mission, and I recognise her as an integral part of your success.”

However, it was Chivhayo’s emotional plea for reconciliation that resonated most deeply.

“I urge you to find your way back to each other in full love and unity. You are always better together. None of us are perfect and every marriage faces storms, but with God all things are possible.”

Chivhayo who recently suffered a divorce, drew from personal experience and reflected.

“Even though my marriage is now irretrievably broken down, I have grown to deeply appreciate and will always respect the mother of my children. We cooperate for the sake of our two most amazing children, because that’s what responsible, mature co-parenting requires.”

Mambo Dhuterere is yet to respond publicly but expectations are high that the two will reunite.
