Zimbabwe Football Association Normalisation Committee is set to announce the Mighty Warriors Head Coach on Thursday 21 September 2023.
The Committee held the interviews Tuesday and Wednesday this week where they selected the leadership that will get straight to work in the COSAFA Women’s Championship slated for the 4th to the 15th of October 2023 in South Africa.
Zimbabwe is in Group C with Namibia, Botswana, & Lesotho.
The Mighty Warriors will kickstart their campaign with a clash against Lesotho on October 6, then face Namibia on October 9th, before entertaining their rival, Botswana on October 11, 2023.
Zimbabwe is back to international football after a two year sabbatical due to some leadership squabbles at the Zimbabwe Football Association that led to suspension by FIFA.
Hosts South Africa are in Group A with Malawi, Madagascar and Eswatini while
Group B is made up of Zambia, Mozambique, Angola and Comoros.
