Harare – Schweppes Holdings Africa Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Stanley M. Muchenje as its new Managing Director, effective 1 May 2025. He comes in to replace Mr Charles Nkululeko Msipa who retired recently after 20 years of service at the beverage company.
The appointment was confirmed by the company’s Board Chairperson, Mr V. L Ndlovu, in a statement released this week.
Muchenje brings extensive experience in the beverages industry, having joined Delta Beverages in 1997 where he held various senior roles in sales, distribution, and marketing. He also served as Managing Director of African Distillers from 2021 until his latest appointment.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (Hons), IMM diploma (South Africa), an MPhil in Marketing, and is a graduate of the Accelerated Leadership Development Program run by SAB Miller and the Gordon Institute of Business Science.
The board, management, and staff of Schweppes Holdings Africa Limited congratulated Muchenje on his new role and expressed confidence in his leadership.
Schweppes Holdings Africa Limited is a major player in Zimbabwe’s beverages sector, known for producing and distributing popular non-carbonated and fruit juice products across the country.
