NetOne’s Gift of Love: Bringing Joy to Matthew Rusike Children’s Home

NetOne, Zimbabwe’s leading mobile network operator, brought festive joy to Matthew Rusike Children’s Home in Mzingwane, Matabeleland South Province, through its Christmas Cheers initiative.

The heartwarming event demonstrated the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and community development.

On Saturday, NetOne executives and team members spent a day with the orphaned children, sharing meals, laughter, and gifts. The substantial Christmas hampers, filled with essential groceries, ensured the children had a memorable festive season.

Engineer Raphael Mushanawani, NetOne Group Chief Executive Officer, emphasized the initiative’s alignment with national development goals. “This outreach supports the National Development Strategy 1 (NDS1) and several Sustainable Development Goals, including poverty elimination and reducing inequalities.”

The donation, comprising substantial Christmas hampers filled with essential groceries, aims to ensure the children enjoy a memorable festive season.

Chief Commercial Officer, Learnmore Musunda highlighted the significance of the company’s community engagement:
