Executive Director Hon Raymore Machingura

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has appointed Honourable Raymore Machingura as the Executive Director of the Presidential and National Scholarships Department in the Office of the President and Cabinet.
The announcement was made in a press statement by Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Dr. Martin Rushwaya.
Hon. Machingura is a former legislator who previously held roles as the Acting Speaker of Parliament and Deputy Minister for Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science, and Technology Development, among other strategic positions which qualifies him to hold the new portfolio.
The government of Zimbabwe has placed premium on education and programmes like the presidential and national scholarship has supported thousands of underprivileged students in pursuing education at local and international universities.
Every year, applications are called from disadvantaged but academically talented individuals to apply for Presidential and national scholarships, which cover undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
