Martial Arts Icon Shihan Mashaya Arrives in the UK for WMAC Welsh Open

Renowned martial artist Shihan Wilfred Mashaya, celebrated globally as the “Zim Ninja,” has touched down in the United Kingdom ahead of the prestigious WMAC Welsh Open International Martial Arts Tournament, set to take place on November 24, 2024, at the Ebbw Vale Leisure Centre in South Wales.

The Welsh Open, a marquee event on the international martial arts calendar, will feature a thrilling array of competitive categories, including points fighting, continuous fighting, low kicks, traditional and creative forms, freestyle, extreme forms, and weapon forms. The tournament is expected to draw elite martial artists from around the world, promising an unforgettable showcase of skill and artistry.

Shihan Mashaya, a master of the ancient weapons discipline Kobudo, is no stranger to the UK martial arts scene, having competed in high-profile events earlier this year. Reflecting on his participation, the multi-award-winning martial artist expressed both pride and anticipation.
